Our Mission Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meetings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a Peer led mental health support group.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet in person on the 2nd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> Tuesday of each month from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Chisholm Community Center, 100 South Springfield Ave, Springfield, NJ 07081.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with a mental health illness or who supports someone with one is welcome and you do not need to RSVP to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who We Are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is the leading national organization focusing on mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, which affect over 21 million Americans, account for over 50% of the nation\u2019s suicides every year, and cost $23 billion in lost workdays and other workplace losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DBSA offers peer-based, wellness-oriented support and empowering services and resources available when people need them, where they need them, and how they need to receive them\u2014online, in local support groups, in audio and video casts, or in printed materials distributed by DBSA, our chapters, and mental health care facilities across America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through our extensive resources and 450 support groups across the country, DBSA reaches millions of people each year with in-person and online peer support; current, readily understandable information about depression and bipolar disorder; and empowering tools focused on an integrated approach to wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
